Born and raised in Yorkshire, I now find myself miles away from that safe green haven and in the fast paced concrete mass that is London.
In September 2014 my journey into the Musical Theatre world began after the news arrived. I had done it, little old me had been accepted into one of the city’s greatest and most renowned Musical Theatre and Dance Schools; Laine Theatre Arts. Since September 2014 I have been learning how to cope with ‘adult life’, a life in which no one ever prepares you for. Monday to Friday I train in all subjects including ballet, tap, contemporary alongside technical and Musical Theatre Jazz. Not only do I dance but I also take part in vocal preparation, voice and language practices and acting/ drama workshops.
As I enter my 21st year, it is high time that I start making those all important changes to my life. It’s time to ditch the narrow mind, open my eyes and start my adventure.
This blog is my little space. My little closet away from all the singing and dancing. I will be writing about whatever takes my fancy, from of course my experiences within the Musical Theatre Industry, but also little snippets of thoughts and feelings, likes and dislikes, travel, and my love for health and fitness!
Lets start living
